Complete KYB Verification

KYB (Know Your Business) verification is required to process stablecoin payments on mainnet. Until verified, payments operate on testnet only. Verification typically completes within 1-2 business days.

Not needed for invoicing

Invoicing does not require verification. You can create, send and track invoices, manage customers and run your catalog on an unverified account.

KYB applies only once you enable the stablecoin payments add-on (Settings → Payments) and want to settle real money on mainnet. If you are not taking on-chain payments, you can skip this guide entirely.

What you’ll need

• Business registration documents (certificate of incorporation, articles of organization, or equivalent)
• Government-issued ID for each Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) — anyone who owns 25% or more of the business
• Your business’s registered address
• Payout wallet address(es)

Verification process

1. Start verification

   Navigate to Settings in the dashboard. You’ll see a KYB verification banner at the top. Click Start Verification to begin.

2. Enter business details

   Fill in your business information:

   • Legal business name
   • Business type (LLC, Corporation, Sole Proprietorship, etc.)
   • Registration number
   • Country and registered address
   • Business description

3. Add beneficial owners

   Declare every individual who owns 25% or more of the business. For each UBO, provide:

   • Full legal name
   • Date of birth
   • Nationality
   • Ownership percentage

4. Upload documents

   You’ll be redirected to our verification partner’s secure portal to upload:

   • Business registration certificate
   • Government-issued photo ID for each UBO
   • Proof of business address (utility bill, bank statement, or similar)

5. Wallet screening

   Your connected payout wallet addresses are automatically screened for compliance. This happens instantly — no action needed from you.

6. Wait for approval

   Your application goes through three checks:

   • Entity verification — confirming your business is real and registered
   • AML screening — sanctions, PEP, and adverse media checks
   • Wallet screening — OFAC and risk screening on your payout addresses

   You’ll receive an email when your verification is complete.

Caution

If your application is declined, you can resubmit after 24 hours. Make sure all documents are current, clearly legible, and match the information you provided.

Verification statuses

After approval

Once approved, your account is automatically upgraded:

• Mainnet payment processing is enabled
• Payment links and invoices will settle on mainnet
• Your wallet balances will show real token amounts
